This is one of those topics where the mere mention of it and women recoil like a cobra how dare you bring this up, but I think this topic should be discussed. Im begging you what on earth do you really want? At first glance it seems like a simple enough question but the problem lies much deeper. Women in general are unique individuals. God’s gift to the world you could say. And just like the snowflake that falls in the winter (yeah u can tell Im Canadian) each one of Gods beautiful creations are different. (Ok enough with the butt kissing my lips are getting tired). Sigh, I cant figure you’ll out, and I really dont mean it as a diss or to be disrespectful but the term oxymoron comes to mind.

Oxymoron (noun) expression with contradictory words: a phrase in which two words of contradictory meaning are used together for special effect, e.g. “wise fool”, “legal murder” “fire water” “pretty boy thug”

As best as I can figure out many (but not all) women seek two contradictory things together at the same time. They are looking for a Pretty boy / Thug, or my personal favorite the Independent Woman who curses the day she needs to rely on any good for nothing man, but you better open the door for her and buy her dinner. Im sure this post is really going to ruffle a few feathers but thats ok throw all your heat on me I can take it. Just be respectful in your hate mail. The reason why I asked, or even brought it up was because, men have been going through this sort of Cultural Revolution for the past few years, men’s men have been replaced by Queer Eye for the Straight Thug. Guys have been lambasted for years for not opening doors or being respectful to women, and the small few nice guys who do are taking as soft. This isnt really about me I dont know where I would fit in the grand scheme of things, I am respectful to women in general because I have a relationship with my mother. Im not a door mat either I can/have/will raise up on a fool because I have a relationship with my father. I always find it curious that most women describe the guy they want as a cross between two opposites a tall/short guy, Nice/badboy or a slim/thick guy why not just say average weight or somebody taller than me in heels but doesnt bump his head on the ceiling.

I actually do know what you mean and fully understand you want somebody who can protect you on long walks on the beach, but doesnt rob banks in their spare time. It all makes sense when you step back and look at it. But to a guy this is all confusing double speak. We struggle to watch 24 and grasp the twists and turns in the plot, then to connect that to real life and we are even more lost.

This is more a commentary on the differences between women speak and men speak. When I say, I want a cute girl who likes kids. I really mean I want a cute girl who likes kids. We are both saying the same things at the top of our lungs but sometimes I dont think either side is listening because we don’t understand each other.
